Registered Nurse - ICU

This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule of 7 PM to 7 AM.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICU team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, excellent assessment, and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with medical procedures and the management of technology including ventilators and central lines.
• Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting is preferred.
• Current RN license and certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
• Knowledge of ventilators, central lines, arterial lines, and chest tube experience is preferred.
• Ability to float to medical/surgical units as needed.
