Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available within an on-campus retail pharmacy serving a large university population. This role supports the health and wellness of students by assisting with prescription processing and medication management in a dynamic retail setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Accurately enter prescription information and maintain patient records.
• Provide excellent customer service to students and faculty visiting the pharmacy.
• Manage inventory and ensure medications are stored properly.
• Assist with over-the-counter medication sales and counseling.
• Support inventory audits and pharmacy compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a retail environment.
• PTCB certification is advantageous; candidates willing to obtain certification are encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow pharmacy laws and regulations.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Location:

• On-campus pharmacy situated at the Richard E. Lindner Center, 3rd Floor, Cincinnati, OH.
