Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7p - 7:30a Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current licensure by the state board of nursing Certifications: BLS, ACLS, preferred TNCC Must-Have: - Effective communication skills - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Demonstrates clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ensures that professional nursing services are delivered effectively.
