Associate Project Manager

Project Manager

Location: Stockton, CA

Duration: 6 Months

Work Mode: Hybrid (1-3 times a week at Stockton site or other locations as requested)

Responsibilities:

• Define project scope and objectives.
• Develop cost/benefit analysis, detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, test plans, contracts, risk and mitigation strategies, change management, and communication plans.
• Define and secure authorization and funding for projects.
• Determine staffing and individual roles and responsibilities of the project team.
• Direct and monitor the work of team members and conduct project meetings.
• Maintain the project plan, including risk management, issue management, change management, and communication plans.
• Ensure that all requirements, project plans, and changes to commitment are communicated to all impacted team members.
• Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams and different locations, including all vendors and sub-contractors.
• Responsible for the overall management and integration of requirements including the integration of vendor tasks; tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
• Measure, monitor, and report progress at clearly defined points to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery by balancing and adjusting scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks.
• Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications, and presentation skills.
• Ability to present information, status, and issues in a clear and concise manner with the goal of driving decision-making.
• Ability to organize and facilitate groups ensuring time is used effectively and drives projects forward.
• Ability to work effectively with senior staff members and management.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in Project Management.
• PMP certification.
• BA/BS in Management, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related experience.
• LEAN experience.
