Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Travel Emergency Room RN for variable shifts at a busy ER. The role requires providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Function as a primary nurse managing patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Administer medications, perform IV insertions, and conduct EKGs with precision.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress using GE monitors and Baxter pumps, ensuring timely interventions.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in Meditech EMR.
• Assist with procedures such as conscious sedation, wound care, and medication administration.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 1 year of current ED RN experience.
• Maintain active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC, and ENPC certifications (PALS may substitute ENPC).
• Demonstrate ability to work mid-shift and night shifts with a flexible attitude.
• Possess a positive, adaptable, and team-oriented personality.
• Have experience in ED charge nursing and willing to float between departments preferred.
