Warehouse Forklift OperatorOperate various types of forklifts, including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, and pallet jacks, to load and unload goods safely and efficiently.Manage order picking tasks using specialized equipment such as pickers to fulfill customer orders accurately.Assist with warehouse distribution activities by organizing inventory and maintaining stock levels.Conduct routine equipment repairs and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety and compliance with OSHA standards.Support shipping and receiving operations by verifying shipments, preparing documentation, and ensuring proper handling of materials.Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking, order processing, and data entry.Perform heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety protocols for materials handling.Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve overall efficiency.Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and productivity.QualificationsProven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, or similar machinery.Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting.Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations.Strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes and order picking procedures.Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements.Prior experience in warehouse distribution or materials handling is preferred.Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and prolonged standing or operating equipment.Valid forklift certification or relevant training is highly desirable.Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
