Sales Coordinator

Our client, a well-known brand hotel in Times Square, NY, is seeking a Temporary Sales Coordinator to provide administrative assistance to their sales department. The ideal candidate has both administrative and customer service as you will be interacting with external clients and divisions across the property.

• Temporary Contract for 1-3 months
  
  
• Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, fully onsite
  
  
• Pay rate $23-24/hour

Responsibilities

• Client Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for group clients after they are secured by the Group Sales team, confirming details, and ensuring accurate planning across departments.
  
  
• Inter-Departmental Communication: Facilitate clear communication between Operations and Group Sales to maintain a seamless experience.
  
  
• Administrative Support: Handle correspondence, prepare client site visits, and assist with sales documentation, reporting, and data entry.
  
  
• Sales Operations: Support daily sales activities, including invoice distribution, Salesforce tracking, and recordkeeping.
  
  
• Lead Generation: Research and evaluate new business leads to build and maintain a qualified pipeline.
  
  
• Special Projects: Assist with departmental initiatives, events, and meetings as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience in a hotel environment preferred.
  
  
• Communication: Strong inter-departmental communication skills.
  
  
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with hotel software systems, specifically OnQ and Delhpi (or ability to learn quickly).
