Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a real difference supporting students with diverse learning needs in a full-time, onsite contract role serving K-12 populations. Assignments begin September 9, 2026, and continue through June 26, 2027. Four full-time openings are available, each with a 37.5-hour work week. Onsite work ensures you’re fully engaged with students, families, and instructional teams, shaping impactful learning experiences every day.

Available placements include:

• Middle school life skills program: Teach 12 students with varied needs alongside 4 instructional assistants, blending behavioral and academic support.
• Elementary K-2 developmental classroom: Guide 16 students—some non-verbal—focused on foundational skills and routines, supported by 5 instructional assistants.
• Elementary 3rd-5th grade behavioral program: Support 13 students requiring intensive behavioral interventions, partnering with 4 instructional assistants at a specialized behavioral health center (2 openings available).

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching license with special education endorsement or eligibility required.
• Experience working with students in life skills, behavioral, or developmental classrooms preferred.
• Comfort adapting instruction for diverse learning profiles including non-verbal and high-needs students.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Must provide contact information for three most recent supervisor references (name, title/school, email)—this is a firm requirement for consideration.
