Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact supporting students with special needs in a collaborative, onsite environment. Four contract positions are available for experienced special education teachers prepared to serve diverse learners across K–12 settings. Start in early September 2026 and continue through June 2027, working full-time (37.5 hours weekly) with caseload assignments based on your background and interests.

Openings include:

• Middle school life skills program (12 students): Work with a dynamic team of 4 instructional assistants supporting learners with behavioral challenges and academic needs.
• Elementary developmental classroom (K–2): Collaborate with 5 instructional assistants to support 16 students, including non-verbal learners, focusing on essential academic, social, and functional routines.
• Behavioral health center (2 positions, grades 3–5): Join a specialized team serving 13 students with intensive needs, alongside 4 instructional assistants in a structured, supportive environment.

Candidates should have:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience in schools as a special education teacher, preferably across different age groups and programs
• Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to coordinate with instructional assistants and related service providers
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive, and adaptive classroom setting
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Flexibility to navigate varying caseloads and support student success
• Experience with behavior management strategies and supporting students with varying levels of verbal and academic skills
