The Accounts Payable Clerk position will report directly to the Controller and offers the right candidate a unique opportunity to be directly involved in the growth and success of UPLIFT Desk, and provides significant career growth opportunities.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of NetSuite experience a must (please do not apply without NetSuite experience)

• 2+ years of accounting experience

• Experience with accounts payable and high-volume invoice processing

• Working knowledge of GAAP accounting practices and procedures

• Excellent communication, time management skills, and attention to detail required

• Ability to accurately manage a high volume of transactions and meet deadlines

Bonus Points For

• Some college or college degree

• Familiarity and experience with sales tax

• Experience with Google Mail, Google Chat, Google Meet, Google Docs / Sheets

• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities

• Ability to work effectively under pressure

What You’ll Do

• Process high-volume accounts payable invoices

• Review invoices for accuracy and proper documentation

• Verify purchase orders and supporting documentation

• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving information

• Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies

• Maintain accurate vendor and accounts payable records

• Assist with vendor inquiries and account reconciliation

• Support payment processing and ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner

• Assist with month-end accounts payable activities as assigned

• Support staff by performing assigned accounting and clerical tasks

Position Details

• Compensation: $25 hourly

• Type: Full-time

• Employee Status: Regular

• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week

• Location: Austin, Texas
