Trust Administrator
The Trust Team at The Haverford Trust Company is responsible for the daily administration and maintenance of the company's fiduciary account business, which directly manages client trust and estate accounts. The Trust Administrator reports to and partners closely with 1-2 Trust Officers to provide direct support in managing their portfolio of trust relationships. The Trust Administrator also works closely with other Trust Administrators and Senior Trust Administrators to collaborate and ensure best practices and efficiencies for the entire Trust Administration Team.
Essential duties include partnering with one to two Trust Officers to support the administration of their trust and estate relationships, proactively anticipating needs and delivering exceptional client service. Effective communication with clients, beneficiaries, attorneys, accountants, advisors, and other professional partners is required while maintaining accurate records of interactions and requests. Day-to-day trust administration activities, including bill payment, contributions, distributions, discretionary requests, overdraft management, and maintenance of account information, are processed. Trust records and documentation across physical and electronic systems are maintained, ensuring accurate client information, regulatory compliance, and adherence to fiduciary standards. Coordination of all aspects of trust account onboarding and termination, including account setup, review of governing documents, asset transfers, account funding, distributions, and account closings, is also required. Support for estate settlement activities, including date-of-death valuations, beneficiary distributions, and related trust and estate administration tasks, is necessary. Support for departmental operations and special initiatives, including the Trust Administrator Group, the Trust Administration Committee, annual account reviews, reporting, process improvements, and other projects, is also part of the role.
Physical requirements include normal business hours from Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, EST. Employees are required to work in-person, in our Radnor office, on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Employees are potentially eligible to work from home up to two days per week. Mobility, stamina, desk work, and lifting up to 30 pounds are also required.

Qualifications include a BA or BS in finance or related fields. Minimum 1 year experience in trust administration (preferred). Estate settlement experience (preferred). CTFA certification (preferred).
