POSITION TITLE: Shipping Dock Team Lead
DEPARTMENT: Shipping
REPORTS TO: Shipping Manager
General Summary: To oversee the accurate staging and timely loading of all shipments from the Indianapolis Distribution Center.
Essential Job Requirements:
q Oversee the staging TeamLeader and 2nd staging person
q Oversee the loading team leader and 2nd loading person
q Ensure all shipments are loaded correctly and on time
q Ensure the correct staging of sales orders by release or load
q To ensure the scheduled work is performed as required, to assign lift drivers to team leaders for timely staging and shipments
q Ensure facility safety procedures are adhered to
q Ensure all shipping SOP's are enforced
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
q Forklift certified
q Leadership skills
q Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities as assigned
q Ability to work with minimal supervision
q Exemplary time management and organization skills
q Effective Communicator
q Results oriented
q Flexibility to assist with a variety of duties as assigned
Pay Range: $19-$22/hr dependent on experience
Education and Experience: 2-year college degree or equivalent preferred, plus 3 years experience that correlates with above stated knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Physical Requirements: Physically stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, lift, pull, and push as required to carry out job functions. Heavy work: lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds regularly, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly.
