Program Planning Coordinator

Job Description Job Description IMMEDIATE job opportunity for a driven individual who has a proven track record of performance and desire to work for a well-established organization. We are looking for an experienced Program Planning Coordinator for a grower, packer, and distributor of premium avocados with strategically placed distribution centers and sourcing regions located in Murrieta, CA. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Our Program Planning Coordinators work closely with several key departments in high level planning for successful execution with order fulfillment to ensure our customers’ demands are met. · Minimize waste by ensuring proper FIFO rotation through product allocation. · Identify product age risks and concerns on low demand SKUS. · Work with our Supply Chain team in positioning inventory across our distribution centers based on customer demands for a 0-7-day window. · Communicate product shortages and collaborate with supply chain to identify alternative solutions. · Assist in planning, prioritizing, communicating production plans to our warehouse teams/production leaders. · Provide direction to our warehouse teams on order picking and processing to ensure smooth order fulfillment Teams include Shipping/Just Ripe/Quality Control/ Production teams. · Coordinate order pick up and deliveries with carriers and our Logistics team based on product readiness/availability. · Work with our Quality Control teams to address any issues or concerns with product specifications prior to order shipment. · Communicate product availability to our Sales team. · Work with our ripening department to address and ripening concerns. · Work with our warehouse teams to resolve any inventory discrepancies. Education & Experience · Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is preferred · Minimum 1 year of supply chain experience preferred Skills · Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred · Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as in financial modeling tools. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze significant amount of information Attention to detail, Critical Thinking , Proactive problem solvers, Strong demonstration of taking initiative, Ability to work effectively with all levels of management, Excellent written and communication skills, Positive Attitude, Strong team player Compensation: $21 - 23/HR.
