HVAC Warranty Technician

Job Description

Job Description

At Raynor Services, we’re more than just a service provider — we’re a tight-knit team that treats our customers and each other like family. Based in Mount Holly, NJ, we’ve built our reputation on trust, expertise, and doing the job right the first time.

No interest in sales? No problem. If your passion is troubleshooting, repairing, and solving the HVAC problems others can't, this is your opportunity to focus on what you do best.

We’re looking for an experienced, technically driven HVAC Warranty Technician to handle warranty callbacks, difficult diagnostic issues, and challenging service calls. This position is ideal for a technician who takes pride in their craft and would rather solve a complex mechanical problem than focus on selling equipment or chasing sales goals.

What You’ll Get at Raynor Services:

• Competitive Pay: $40–$55 per hour, based on experience
• Weekly Pay — no waiting for your money
• Company Vehicle + Paid Drive Time
• 401(k) with company match
• Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
• 100% Employer-Paid Medical Co-Pays & Deductibles
• Paid Holidays & PTO
• Tool Reimbursement Program — because we know you love your tools
• A supportive, family-like team culture
• Opportunities for training and continued professional development

Your Day-to-Day:

• Diagnose and resolve complex HVAC issues, recurring system failures, and warranty callbacks.
• Troubleshoot challenging mechanical, electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and control-related problems.
• Identify the root cause of equipment malfunctions rather than simply treating the symptoms.
• Perform warranty repairs, corrective work, and follow-up service to ensure systems operate properly.
• Investigate previous repairs and service history to determine why issues continue to occur.
• Conduct thorough system evaluations and verify that repairs resolve the original problem.
• Document diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and any additional recommendations.
• Communicate technical findings and repair options clearly and professionally to customers.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians and service leadership to resolve difficult issues and reduce repeat callbacks.
• Represent Raynor Services with professionalism and take pride in delivering reliable, long-lasting solutions.

What You Bring:

• 10+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to solve complex HVAC problems independently
• Solid understanding of HVAC electrical systems, refrigerant circuits, airflow, controls, and system performance
• Experience handling warranty repairs, callbacks, or difficult service issues preferred
• A detail-oriented, analytical approach to identifying root causes and resolving problems
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• A dependable, team-oriented attitude and willingness to collaborate
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Lead with confidence. Diagnose with expertise. Grow with Raynor.
