Executive Director

We are seeking an inspiring and strategic leader to serve as our next Executive Director and help shape the organization’s next chapter. This is an opportunity for a collaborative, community-minded professional to lead a mission-driven organization while working closely with a dedicated Board, staff, donors, partners, and community stakeholders. Executive Director Position. The Executive Director is the chief executive and key management leader of the organization and serves as its primary public representative. The Executive Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing the administration, programs, finances, fundraising, communications, community relationships, and day-to-day operations of the organization. Working in partnership with the Board of Directors, the Executive Director translates the organization's mission and strategic direction into measurable goals, effective programs, sustainable operations, and meaningful results. The Executive Director builds and maintains strong relationships with staff, Board members, donors, community partners, and other stakeholders while fostering a collaborative, accountable, and mission-focused organizational culture. The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Directors. Key responsibilities include. Provide strategic leadership and ensure organizational activities remain aligned with the mission, vision, and Board-approved priorities Partner closely with the Board of Directors to support effective governance, informed decision-making, and long-term organizational success Lead annual and long-term planning and translate strategic priorities into measurable goals and organizational results Oversee financial health, budgeting, financial reporting, resource allocation, and long-term sustainability Lead fundraising and resource development efforts, including donor, funder, sponsor, and community relationships Oversee programs and services to ensure they are effective, appropriately resourced, aligned with strategic priorities, and responsive to community needs Provide leadership for day-to-day operations, policies, procedures, systems, risk management, and organizational infrastructure Hire, supervise, develop, and retain staff while fostering a collaborative, respectful, accountable, and mission-focused culture Build and maintain strong relationships with community, nonprofit, civic, business, governmental, and professional partners Serve as a visible representative and primary spokesperson for the organization Oversee marketing and communications to strengthen organizational visibility, credibility, and community engagement Establish and monitor measures of success and promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and results Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, contracts, and Board directives Protect the organization’s reputation, resources, relationships, and long-term interests Qualifications. Bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, organizational leadership, or a related field; master’s degree preferred Minimum of 5 years of progressive senior leadership, executive, or nonprofit management experience Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategy and translate organizational priorities into measurable results Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, and resource management Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising, donor cultivation, resource development, and community partnerships Demonstrated experience developing and improving organizational systems, policies, procedures, and processes Proven ability to lead, develop, supervise, and collaborate with staff Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engage effectively with Board members, donors, volunteers, staff, and diverse community stakeholders Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and public-speaking skills High integrity, transparency, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to ethical leadership We offer a comprehensive benefits package including: Generous PTO package - 25 days in first year 9 Paid Holidays plus holiday time from December 20th- January 1st. #J-18808-Ljbffr TriCounty Community Network
