Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: Brazosport - Lake Jackson, TX 77566 Education Level: Masters Degree Job Category: Education Classification Title Adjunct - Industrial Management/Operations Instructor (Pool) Department Industrial Management Physical Demands Able to traverse campus, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, handling, fine dexterity, bending, vision, hearing, and talking. Job Summary/Basic Function Adjunct Instructors are hired in a part‑time capacity on an as‑needed basis. These positions are filled prior to or during each semester and are contingent upon the needs of the College. Brazosport College accepts application materials for pool positions on a continuing basis throughout the year from qualified applicants willing to teach on a part‑time basis. Academic departments will contact potential applicants when there are available openings. Job Duties Reports to the Dean of Business, Technology, and Online Programs. Teaches Industrial Management classes in the Bachelors of Applied Technology program using traditional and alternative delivery methods. *CCPI College benefits do not accrue with this part‑time position. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree with a major in management plus degree or certification or work experience in an industrial area; or Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in management plus degree or certification or work experience in an industrial area from a regionally accredited college or university. Demonstrated ability in working with culturally diverse populations. Interest in alternative instructional delivery methods. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Other qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one’s value to the institution. Exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration as long as Southern Association (SACS) minimum educational credentials are met.
