Named the #1 Firm to Work For by Zweig Group, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions that improve communities while fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and work-life balance.What You'll Do:Perform civil engineering design and technical analysis for a variety of land development projects, including commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, mixed-use, and energy developmentsPrepare and review site development plans, grading plans, utility plans, and construction documentsDesign and analyze stormwater management systems, drainage and conveyance infrastructure, erosion and sediment control measures, site grading and earthwork, roadway and access improvements, and utility infrastructure systemsCoordinate permitting efforts and prepare applications for municipal, county, and state review agenciesSupport project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and project delivery activitiesCollaborate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal project teamsConduct site visits and field investigations as neededAssist with proposal preparation, technical reports, cost estimates, and project documentationMentor junior engineers and technical staff while continuing professional developmentWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program4-8 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development and site designEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progressExperience preparing land development plans and permit applicationsKnowledge of site layout and design, stormwater management, grading and drainage design, utility infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, and local and state permitting processesProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3DExperience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software is a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while contributing effectively to project teamsSalary Range:The compensation range starts at $86,000 and is based on the position, experience, and licensure.Benefits:Flexible Work EnvironmentPaid Parental LeaveMedicalDentalVisionLife and AD&D InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off + HolidaysVerdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
