Worthwhile Strategies is excited to partner with Christ Fellowship Church as they search for their next Worship Pastor.

The Opportunity
Christ Fellowship is a healthy, growing church with a clear vision for reaching people and making disciples. Over the past several years, the church has experienced consistent year-over-year growth of approximately 15-20%, with current weekend attendance approaching 850 people. This momentum has created an exciting opportunity for a Worship Pastor who is energized by growth, passionate about building teams, and excited about helping shape the future of a multiplying church.

As Christ Fellowship continues to expand its reach through a campus strategy, the Worship Pastor will play a key role in developing worship systems, leaders, and culture that can scale across multiple locations. Future campuses may include revitalization partnerships with existing churches as well as opportunities in university communities. The ideal candidate will embrace the campus model and view church growth not as a challenge to manage, but as an opportunity to steward.

This role reports to the Executive Pastor while maintaining close collaboration with the Senior Pastor. Communication between worship leadership and senior leadership is highly valued, and the Worship Pastor will serve as a trusted ministry partner in shaping the overall weekend experience and advancing the church’s vision.

Position Summary
The Worship Pastor provides vision, leadership, and oversight for all aspects of worship and production ministries at Christ Fellowship. This leader is responsible for creating engaging, Christ-centered worship experiences that help people connect with God while developing teams and systems that support a growing, multi-campus church.

The Worship Pastor oversees every aspect of the Sunday worship experience, including worship programming, service flow, production, welcome moments, transitions, and other key elements that contribute to a cohesive and impactful gathering.

In addition to leading worship ministry, this individual will oversee the church’s production ministry through a team of staff and volunteers, ensuring excellence in audio, video, lighting, and online experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Worship Leadership

• Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of worship ministry across Christ Fellowship.
• Plan and oversee all aspects of weekend services, including worship sets, service programming, transitions, welcome moments, and special elements.
• Cultivate worship environments that are engaging, authentic, and aligned with the church’s mission and culture.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Pastor and Executive Pastor to shape services that effectively communicate vision and support ministry objectives.

Team Development

• Recruit, train, develop, and shepherd musicians, vocalists, worship leaders, and volunteers.
• Lead and invest in a growing worship staff team, currently consisting of two Worship Associates, with plans for additional worship staff positions as the church continues to grow.
• Build leadership pipelines that identify and develop future worship leaders for current and future campuses.
• Foster a healthy, enjoyable, and highly relational team culture that attracts and retains gifted leaders and volunteers.

Production Oversight

• Provide leadership and strategic oversight for all production ministries.
• Supervise staff and volunteer leaders responsible for audio, video, lighting, livestream, and technical systems.
• Ensure excellence and consistency across all worship environments and future campuses.

Multi-Campus Leadership

• Help develop worship systems, structures, and leadership pathways that support a multi-campus ministry model.
• Partner in the planning and launch of future campuses.
• Develop scalable worship and production strategies that maintain consistency while empowering local leadership.
