For more than a century, Dante has been a place where exceptional food, timeless cocktails, and genuine hospitality come together. As we open our newest location on Elizabeth Street in Nolita, we're seeking passionate and dedicated Line Cooks to join our opening culinary team.
We're looking for cooks who take pride in their craft, value teamwork, and are committed to delivering excellence with every service. Whether you're an experienced line cook or an emerging culinary professional eager to learn, Dante offers an environment where discipline, mentorship, and growth are at the heart of everything we do.
What You'll Do- Prepare and execute menu items with consistency, precision, and attention to detail.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and organization.
- Work collaboratively with chefs and fellow cooks to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- Follow recipes, preparation techniques, and plating standards with accuracy.
- Support daily prep, station setup, and breakdown while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented kitchen culture.
- Previous experience in a high-volume, chef-driven, or fine dining kitchen is preferred.
- A strong work ethic and a genuine passion for cooking.
- The ability to work efficiently and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to consistency.
- A collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
