HousekeeperThe Housekeeper plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall presentation of guest rooms, dormitories, washrooms, and common areas at a world-class Dexterra camp facility.This project will launch at approximately 500 rooms and scale rapidly to more than 4,000 rooms, requiring Housekeepers who are detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to high standards. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Lead Housekeeper, you will ensure accommodations remain clean, safe, and guest-ready at all times.This role requires working in a fast-paced, team-based environment with daily room assignments and cleaning checklists.Your work will include:Cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms and dormitories, including:Making beds and changing linensDusting and sanitizing high-touch surfacesEmptying garbage and recyclingCleaning and disinfecting washrooms and shower facilitiesSweeping, mopping, and vacuuming hallways, stairwells, and common areasCompleting room turn-overs and check-outs according to schedulesCleaning and sanitizing laundry rooms and public high-touch pointsCollecting, laundering, folding, and restocking towels and linensMaintaining a clean, organized housekeeping cart and storage areasReporting maintenance issues or damages to the Housekeeping SupervisorFollowing all safety, infection-control, and PPE requirementsAssisting with additional housekeeping or janitorial tasks as assignedQualificationsWe are looking for:Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or commercial cleaning preferredExperience in hotel, institutional, workforce accommodations, camp, or lodge environments considered an assetKnowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanlinessPhysically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35–50 poundsWillingness to follow all safety and sanitation proceduresAdditional InformationDexterra is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
