We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative Senior Construction Manager for Barceloneta/ Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, who thrives when people are in sync and construction projects are running like they should. Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering is preferred, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree

• At least 8+ years of construction site experience 

• At least 8+ years of experience as a construction manager 

• Experience managing pharmaceutical projects preferred

• Experience developing project monthly reports

• Experience manages construction coordination, planning, and leads the construction team according to the schedule deliverables.

• Responsible to Coordinate and lead meetings with contracts, client, designers and internally

• Experience with managing projects or scope package budgets

• Experience with the management of a project schedule.

• Knowledge of development scope of works 

• Experience and acknowledgment the importance to develop and implement a HSE culture for project execution and lead the construction to comply with the Site specific HSE plan

• Experience with budget controls 

• Experience. Monitoring and review construction change management with project controls team

• Knowledge of Quality Control and Quality Assurance testing/reporting 

• Great communicator internally and externally

• Knowledge of the commissioning and qualification process as it specifically relates to MEP systems

• Working knowledge and background in management of Project Controls and Procurement strategies and day-to-day management.

• Demonstrated working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required 

Ideally, you’ll also have: 

• Working knowledge of design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building.

• Advanced knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, architectural systems, clean room knowledge a plus, and general building construction & maintenance 

• Knowledge and experience with implementation of LEAN strategies and technologies in project execution, including; Last Planner System (LPS), 5S Construction and off-site manufacturing (OSM) construction.

• Knowledge and familiarity with updating of project schedules from Level 1 thru Level 4 detail, include use and operation of scheduling software; Primavera (P6), MS Project or other.

• Working knowledge in construction project sequencing and ability to utilize 3D technologies such as BIM360, REVIT or other.

• Pharma experience

The base salary range for this position is $114,400.00 to $160,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
