Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst Location: Irwindale, CA (On-site) Job Type: Full-time Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 annually About Us Breeder’s Choice Pet Foods, LLC is a leading innovator, marketer, and producer of high‑quality branded and custom dog and cat foods. We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team at our Irwindale, CA office. This role works closely with the VP of Finance and plays a key role in analyzing and interpreting financial data to support business decision‑making and overall financial performance. Key Responsibilities Support analytics and KPI reporting, including monthly tracking and distribution Perform profitability, product, and financial analysis and reporting Assist with forecasting and budgeting processes Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Track and reconcile prepaid expenses Manage rebates and promotions accruals, analysis, and reconciliation Prepare monthly account reconciliations Support accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and ad‑hoc projects Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies Ensure financial deadlines are consistently met Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies and procedures Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (required); MBA or CPA a plus 2–3 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis Experience with large enterprise ERP systems (SAP or SAP Business One preferred) Strong understanding of account reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries Experience in manufacturing or consumer products industries preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Ability to manage large data sets and complex financial models Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment Preferred Experience Financial modeling (2–3 years) Consumer products, food industry, or manufacturing experience 401(k) Health, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance Flexible spending account (FSA) Paid time off Benefit eligibility may be subject to a waiting period and is available to full‑time employees.
