CAD Technician

CAD Technician Future Opportunity CSEngineering is seeking a CAD Technician to support engineering, construction, and facility-record management activities for a Department of Defense installation. The ideal candidate will bring strong Autodesk Civil 3D drafting experience and the ability to maintain accurate 2D and 3D engineering record drawings.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Create, update, revise, and verify technical drawings, plans, blueprints, and as-built documentation. Use Autodesk Civil 3D and other Government-approved CAD tools to produce accurate engineering and facility-record drawings. Incorporate field changes, redlines, specifications, survey information, and contractor-provided as-built data into final drawing packages. Review CAD files for compliance with applicable architectural, engineering, construction, and project drafting standards. Verify layer naming, scale, symbology, title blocks, version control, and overall drawing quality. Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and CAD/GIS personnel to maintain accurate and current facility records.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Security Clearance: NACI/SF85 (Public Trust) Associate degree or postsecondary certificate in CAD, Engineering Technology, or a closely related field; or At least two (2) years of CAD technician experience. Demonstrated proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D. Experience with AutoCAD, Map 3D, Revit, digital database management, and engineering or architectural drafting is preferred. Strong understanding of drafting theory and practice, including the use of survey, cartographic, architectural, and engineering data. Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80930
