Sanitation Supervisor

3rd Shift | Full-Time | Supervisory Opportunity

Halpin Staffing is seeking an experienced Sanitation Supervisor to lead a second-shift sanitation team in a food manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can train and motivate a team while ensuring production equipment and facilities meet strict sanitation, safety, and food-quality standards.

The ideal candidate has previous supervisory experience and a background in foodservice, sanitation, manufacturing, or another production environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead, train, schedule, and manage a second-shift team of Sanitation Technicians
• Ensure sanitation procedures and equipment meet GMP, HACCP, SQF, OSHA, and food-safety standards
• Maintain and update Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) as equipment and processes change
• Oversee proper chemical handling, safety procedures, and sanitation chemical inventory
• Work alongside the sanitation team while monitoring performance, workload, training, and overall department efficiency

What You Bring

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience , preferably in foodservice, sanitation, manufacturing, or production
• High School Diploma or GED required; additional education preferred
• Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, OSHA, and food-safety practices
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organization, delegation, and basic math skills
• Ability to lead by example and work hands-on alongside team members

Physical & Working Environment

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly during the shift
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive movements for extended periods
• Work in changing temperatures ranging from approximately 50&degree;F to 95&degree;F
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, loud machinery, and typical production/warehouse environmental conditions
• Must be comfortable working on the production floor for extended periods
