As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be a vital part of our collaborative nursing team, supporting Registered Nurses in providing hands‑on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. Responsibilities Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery. Provide non‑medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices. Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency. Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness. Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality. Work a full‑time schedule: 6:45 p‑7:15 a, three 12‑hour shifts following completion of PCT Orientation. Qualifications A minimum of a high school diploma or GED. 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting (preferred). Kansas Certified Nursing Assistant License required or completion of the HCA Patient Care Tech Essentials training. BCLS certification required upon hire. If you have no hospital‑based experience, you must be able to attend the PCT Essentials training (Monday–Friday, 8 a‑5 p first two weeks of employment). Availability to begin in July.
