Overview Last year our HCA Healthcare colleagues invested over 156,000 hours volunteering in our communities. We are staffed by a skilled team of registered nurses and OR techs. Our Suites are equipped with sophisticated monitors, technical equipment and instrumentation. Performing over 600 cases a month. Our specialties include urology, orthopedics, plastics, ENT, gastroenterology, OB/GYN, podiatry and pain. Our Center is located next to Menorah Medical Center. We are in close proximity to the center of town. We are a proud member of the Ambulatory Surgery Division of HCA Healthcare. Responsibilities Facilitate the transfer, positioning and transport of your patients Assist in overturning your operating rooms between cases Perform terminal cleaning of your surgical area Maintain sufficient supply levels, cleanliness and orderliness of all your equipment and supplies Answer phones Assist with computer data entry Qualifications One year patient care assistance in an nursing or environmental services environment Valid BCLS Certification upon employment Benefits Mid-America Surgery Institute offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
