Overview Join a rural critical access hospital and its affiliated clinic in the picturesque Badlands of Eastern Montana. Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited MD or DO program Board certified NRP certification required Current license in the state of Montana Two years of clinical experience preferred Willingness to see pediatrics in the inpatient setting Hours & Compensation Full-time, 4.5-day work week. Salary range: $260,000-$280,000 per annum, plus full benefits. Relocation/sign-on package available; housing support for the first six months. Responsibilities Family Medicine Physician Provide comprehensive patient care in the turnkey practice, including planning, directing, and evaluating resident and employee health care. Examine and treat chronic and acute episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and accidents; perform selected laboratory testing, write prescriptions, and conduct office procedures within protocol and available equipment. Collaborate with a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in patient care. Treat patients of all ages and perform clinic procedures and physical examinations related to licensing and specialty. Conduct examinations of new patients, orient them with services, identify patient needs, and develop treatment plans. Maintain appropriate medical and business records, ensuring timely documentation in patient records. Prepare and maintain reports, claims, and correspondence necessary for professional services. Attend to newborns and deliver infants when needed. Pediatric Physician Provide outpatient care for infants, children, and adolescents during the 4.5-day work week. Deliver chronic and acute pediatric care, including routine clinic procedures and physical exams. Attend newborn deliveries, provide infant care, and manage discharge planning. Participate in a rotating call schedule for pediatric and newborn coverage. Collaborate with care teams and mentor mid‑level providers. Maintain timely documentation and support a supportive clinical environment. Participate in professional development programs and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
