What You’ll Do The Field Medical Director (FMD) is a field-based scientific expert responsible for communicating with internal and external stakeholders, providing medical and scientific information on the appropriate utilization of therapies, and advancing therapeutic disease‑state knowledge. The FMD is a core member of the Medical Affairs Team, leveraging a scientific approach aligned with medical affairs objectives and therapeutic area medical plans. The FMD will have extensive experience in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment—specifically with product launch planning, rare disorders, or under‑diagnosed patient populations. Duties include developing and executing a comprehensive territory medical plan, attending conferences, delivering scientific presentations, and engaging in scientific exchange with physicians and other healthcare providers. This position reports to the National Head, Field Medical Affairs and requires extensive travel, including weekends. Responsibilities Territory Strategy and Planning Collaborate with the National Head to develop and execute scientific plans within the territory to meet company goals within regulatory guidelines for marketed and in‑development products Lead the execution of Medical Affairs strategic plans in the territory Maintain clinical expertise in specific therapeutic areas, reviewing scientific journals and sharing learnings with stakeholders Serve as a resource to the commercial team on scientific/market intelligence Provide feedback on emerging clinical/competitive trends Local Market Relationships and Knowledge Development Build advocacy with key investigators and accounts to facilitate research on infigratinib Develop field‑based relationships with KOLs, HCPs, clinics, and support strategic plans for multiple brands Maintain relationships with professional societies and patient advocacy groups consistent with Medical Affairs goals Provide high‑quality scientific presentations on infigratinib to physicians and other key customers Support commercial efforts by representing BridgeBio/QED at medical fairs and conferences Assist in managing KOLs/Investigators involved in publications with Medical Affairs stakeholders Share critical field intelligence such as adverse events or safety issues with Medical strategy teams Gather competitive intelligence and clinical insights from the field and provide to BridgeBio/QED intelligence functions Post‑Marketing Research – Registries, ISTs, Observational Visit potential research sites to assess their ability to conduct clinical studies and registries Coordinate independent research (investigator‑sponsored trials) to support the clinical and scientific strategy for infigratinib Align research implications with cross‑functional teams and facilitate recommended actions Support BridgeBio/QED sponsored clinical studies and registry activities at sites in the territory Serve as a lead for clinical trial/research activities and provide training and feedback Product Leadership Responsibilities Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop field medical product strategies supporting the regional Medical Plan Maintain thorough understanding of product and disease areas and BridgeBio/QED clinical and commercial priorities Assist in creating and maintaining product narrative decks and field‑facing educational materials Provide guidance and coaching to others in applying scientific insights Serve as an internal and external authority on scientific and medical aspects of the business Contribute to scientific literature and dialogue with external experts and internal medical teams Handle product scientific question escalation from the field Training Conduct product‑specific scientific training and field meetings with new hires and commercial colleagues Assist in training new commercial recruits by presenting disease and product data Managed Markets and Healthcare System Knowledge Deep knowledge of the US healthcare environment and its implications for Medical Affairs Translate managed market trends into potential Medical Affairs strategies Serve as a scientific resource for managed market discussions and slide deck development Provide field feedback for Managed Market objection handlers Where You'll Work This is a field‑based position based in the United States.
