The Role + Purpose:

We're seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Technical Designer to bridge the gap between creative vision and manufacturing excellence. This role ensures precise translation of design concepts into production-ready specifications while managing the fit process from concept to completion. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and overseas partners to deliver garments that meet our exacting standards for fit, construction, and quality.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead fit process management by updating tech logs, communicating fit comments, and coordinating with overseas factory counterparts
2. Collaborate with Technical Design, Design, Production, and Merchandising teams to ensure seamless project execution
3. Manage fitting sessions by preparing samples, conducting fittings, documenting notes, and completing comprehensive fit lists
4. Provide innovative solutions through detailed sketch creation and tech pack generation for clear factory communication
5. Maintain compliance with measurement standards by precisely measuring and speccing samples for accuracy
6. Communicate technical requirements to factories using multiple methods including pattern corrections, digital photos, technical sketches, and construction notes

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of technical design experience with demonstrated garment construction knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PLM systems, and Adobe Illustrator
• Strong communication and organizational abilities with attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to create tech packs that accurately record construction and fit specifications
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and overseas manufacturing partners

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Design, Fashion Design
• Experience with international factory communication and production processes

Hourly Range: $22.98 - $26.49
