Customer Service Associate

Customer Service RepresentativeWe are looking for a detail-driven Customer Service Representative to manage customer orders from entry through fulfillment. This role plays a critical part in our day-to-day operations by ensuring orders are entered correctly, communicated clearly, and delivered on time. You'll work closely with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Shipping, and Logistics teams while serving as a key point of contact for customers.The role includes entering orders into our ERP system, verifying pricing and availability, tracking fulfillment, resolving issues, and generating customer documentation.Schedule: 8:00am - 4:00pmLocation: On-site in Downlers Grove, ILPay: $22-28/hr, depending on experienceWe offer competitive pay; Medical, Dental, Vision, voluntary coverage (STD, LTD, Life); an Employee Assistance Program (EAP); plus a great working environment, a culture of trust and growth opportunities for our employees.Accurately enter customer orders into the ERP systemReview orders for completeness, pricing accuracy, availability, and ship datesRespond to customer questions and provide timely updates on order status or delaysCoordinate with sales, operations, warehouse, shipping, and logistics teams to ensure smooth fulfillmentInvestigate and resolve discrepancies, backorders, and special requestsGenerate order confirmations and required customer documentationHelp improve order entry and fulfillment processes over timeExceptional attention to detail and high-accuracy data entry skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong problem-solving skills and comfort working under pressureCollege degree and 3+ years of customer service or order management experienceComfort using AI tools to automate routine tasks, improve data accuracy, and support faster, more effective decision-makingHigh-volume order entry in ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, etc.)Working with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve shipment or inventory issuesCreating order confirmations, BOLs, and shipping documentationData accuracy and organizationMultitasking and time managementClear, professional customer communicationGoogle Suite and order management systemsWe are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
