Job Title
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Location: Horseheads, NY
Work Schedule: 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of processing, assembly, inspection, cleaning, rework, minor setups, and support duties related to the manufacturing, testing, and shipment of vacuum interrupters.
- Receive and follow oral and/or written instructions.
- Set up and operate equipment to perform various electrical tests to ensure products meet required specifications.
- Maintain company records and operate equipment to supply assembled or sub-assembled products.
- Assemble, pot, test, mark, inspect, and pack assemblies as needed.
- Perform minor setups and adjustments.
- Measure and combine acids, bases, plating material, and cleaning solutions, and apply them to assemblies.
- Receive, store, inspect, issue, and record various materials.
- Perform required housekeeping tasks and follow shop safety procedures.
- Support all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) functions.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of previous manufacturing experience.
Preferred Skills
- 3 years of previous manufacturing experience.
