Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in the Greater Seattle area for the current school year. This is a contract opportunity providing speech and language services to students while collaborating with educators, families, and other school-based professionals.
Responsibilities
Provide speech, language, and communication services to students
Conduct evaluations and assessments as needed
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
Monitor and document student progress
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goals and progress monitoring
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Support students in developing effective communication skills across educational settings
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid WA SLP license/certification
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred/required
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
