Billing Manager

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid, 3 days in office in the Financial District) Compensation: $150,000 - $195,000 Overview A leading global law firm is seeking a Billing Manager to lead billing and collections strategy across assigned practice groups. This role oversees the full revenue cycle, manages a team, and partners closely with attorneys and finance leadership to drive cash flow, improve processes, and ensure high-quality client service. Key Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end billing and collections, including WIP, invoicing, and accounts receivable Manage and develop a team of billing professionals, setting priorities and monitoring performance Partner with attorneys to ensure accurate, timely billing and resolve outstanding balances Monitor AR aging and drive collections strategies to improve realization and reduce aging Review invoices and processes for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to client guidelines Analyze billing and collections data to identify trends and improve performance Collaborate with internal teams (e-billing, pricing, finance) to streamline workflows Lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and shorten the revenue cycle Qualifications Completed Bachelors Deree required 7+ years of legal billing and collections experience Prior experience managing or overseeing a team Strong knowledge of WIP, AR, and complex billing workflows Experience with systems such as Aderant, 3E, or similar Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment #J-18808-Ljbffr SR Staffing
