Creates part data proposals, tool process plan specification and rough layout using CAE simulation and CAD.Reports technical criteria to Category Technical Expert and New Model Project Leadership.Leads Manufacturing Stamping New Model Tool verification check list requirements and drawing maturation across N.A. DEBQ functions.Supports the development of New Model Stamping Tooling specifications/process plan from 1st drawing to Die GO. Provide direct technical guidance and oversight to downstream customers to ensure successful design and production deliverables are met. Monitors Design Change through drawing maturation.Supports complex manufacturing category problem analysis, determine root causes, recommend corrective action, and set SAP(Specific Action Plan) in the New Model development.Qualifications, Experience, and SkillsMinimum Educational Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical or Industrial) or equivalent related experience.Minimum Experience:2+ years relevant full-time engineering experience or equivalent, expert knowledge of Equipment/Tool New Model, expert knowledge of Automotive Production facilities.
