Customer Service Representative – Amherst, NY Immediate full‑time opening. Provide customer service in a fast‑paced environment, handle quotes and orders, maintain delivery performance, coordinate communication among customers, outside sales, and vendors, and keep customers informed at all stages of processing. Responsibilities Provide customer service in a fast‑paced environment. Process quotes and orders, including expediting, model, part number, and pricing review. Update orders to comply with customer changes. Maintain delivery performance on orders and coordinate information and communication between customer, outside sales and vendors. Provide timely communication to the customer through all stages of quote and order processing. Qualifications Ability to handle high volume of email and telephone interactions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong ability to organize data from different sources (email, phone conversations, Teams messages, etc.). Positive, friendly personality and passion for the customer. Ability to multi‑task and focus on details. Strong computer skills; high proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite (formerly Office). Epicor P21 experience is a plus. Familiarity with distributorship operations is a plus. Strong problem‑solving and teamwork skills. Ability to interface with all levels of management internally and externally. Continuous learning of product lines and technologies. Ability to work in an open office environment. Reliable transportation. Reliable internet connection (for hybrid/remote work). High school diploma or equivalent. Schedule & Compensation Monday–Friday, 8:15am to 5pm. Starting pay $22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience. In‑office training for the first couple of months, then flexible hybrid schedule during normal business hours.
