You'll guide patients and families from their first interaction through appointment scheduling, portal setup, and preparation for a successful first visit.Because this role supports senior care and ALF patients, we are seeking candidates with a healthcare background. Certification as a CMA or higher clinical credential is strongly preferred.To support extended coverage needs, we are prioritizing candidates located in Georgia or states within the Central or Mountain Time Zones, allowing for later-hour scheduling flexibility.What You'll DoServe as the first point of contact for senior care patients and their familiesSchedule new patient appointments via phone and future digital channelsVerify insurance benefits and clearly explain patient cost responsibilityDocument patient information accurately in the EHR and SalesforceCommunicate effectively with clinical teams regarding patient needsEducate patients and families on Ascend services and how to access careProvide compassionate, high-touch service tailored to senior populationsSupport scheduling needs for Assisted Living Facilities, including later-hour coverage when neededWhat We're Looking ForThis role is a strong fit if you have:Healthcare ExperienceClinical background required; CMA certification or higher strongly preferredExperience working with senior populations, assisted living, or primary care is highly valuedFamiliarity with insurance verification and healthcare systemsCall Center or Patient-Facing ExperienceComfortable managing a high volume of inbound callsCustomer-focused with strong communication skillsStrong Technical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft OutlookExperience with EHR systems and Salesforce preferredWork StyleSelf-directed and accountableOrganized and detail-orientedCalm, empathetic, and solution-focusedReliable for full-time coverage needsEducationHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredBilingual Spanish is a plusEqual Opportunity EmployerAscend Medical is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
