You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.24 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, issue visitor badges and access passes, and maintain accurate access-related records. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity. Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding access-control concerns, incidents, and policy compliance. Minimum Requirements: CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
