Job Description As a Security Officer Access Verification in Ontario, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution center, you will manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a welcoming, secure environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:30 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:30 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:30 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and team members while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Monitor and control access at designated entry points for a retail distribution location, verifying credentials, documenting arrivals and departures, and directing authorized personnel and vehicles as appropriate. Respond to access-related incidents, alarm activations, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed. Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, key or badge issuance records, and incident reports in accordance with site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
