Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

$1713.60/week –

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the PCU/IMC/Stepdown unit, ensuring high-quality treatment and monitoring of patients with varying medical conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate and efficient patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and hospital protocols.

• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and clinical status to identify changes requiring intervention.

• Document patient care activities accurately within the electronic medical records system.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update patient care plans.

• Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions and post-discharge instructions.

• Float to various inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as needed to support staffing and patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.

• Possess a minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience in a PCU or IMC/Stepdown unit.

• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech electronic health record systems.

• Be flexible, team-oriented, and able to adapt to floating across units.

• Show excellent communication skills, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care.
