Database Administrator - Full Time
Luminasadvisors | Jackson, MS

As a Database Administrator at Luminasadvisors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, security, and performance of our databases. Key Responsibilities

Database Management: Design, implement, and maintain databases to support business operations and analytics.
Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Data Security: Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive information and maintain data integrity.
Backup and Recovery: Establish and manage backup procedures to protect data and enable recovery in case of loss.
Collaboration: Work with IT and development teams to support application development and data integration.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
Strong knowledge of database management systems, including SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Experience with data modeling, database design, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with database security practices and backup/recovery methods.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Schedule

This is a full-time position, with standard business hours. Flexibility may be required based on project needs.
