Gurley Leep Automotive Family is hiring for the position of Service Manager at the Gurley Leep Ford store located in South Bend, IN .

We are a family-owned company with 24 locations across five states and have over 1,300 team members.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide leadership, guidance, and team building to service and parts departments to meet manufacturer and company standards.
Develop and implement goals and objectives that align with the dealership strategic initiatives.
Monitor and control the performance of the department and take proactive measures to address any areas of concern.
Recruit, train, mentor, and coach team members within service and parts to foster a culture of excellence, professionalism, and teamwork.
Champion a customer-centric approach by ensuring that all interactions with customers reflect the highest standards of quality, integrity, and transparency.
Develop and maintain productive relationships with our manufacturer partners, suppliers, and vendors.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through innovation, best practices, and operational excellence.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or combination of education and experience.
3 – 5 years related experience and/or training within fixed operations.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Strong financial and business acumen and the ability to drive revenue and profitability.
Always presents a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
Customer focused mentality with an excellent customer service disposition.
Professional and well-groomed personal appearance.
Ability to set and achieve targeted goals using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
