About the Role
JW & Company Inc is seeking a dependable and skilled Carpenter / Punch Work Technician to join our team in the metro Atlanta area.
This role is ideal for a hardworking construction professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, pays attention to detail, and can complete finish work and punch list items efficiently. The right candidate will be reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent results on every project.
What You'll Do
• Complete carpentry repairs, adjustments, and punch list work on construction projects
• Perform finish carpentry tasks and general construction repairs
• Inspect work areas and identify items requiring correction or completion
• Install, repair, and modify materials as needed
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Work with project teams to complete tasks on schedule
• Follow company safety guidelines and quality standards
What We're Looking For
• Previous carpentry or construction experience preferred
• Experience with punch work, repairs, and finish work is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools
• Valid photo ID and Social Security Number required

Responsabilidades del Puesto
• Completar trabajos de carpintería, reparaciones y tareas de lista de pendientes en proyectos de construcción
• Realizar trabajos de acabado, ajustes y reparaciones generales
• Inspeccionar áreas de trabajo e identificar tareas que necesiten corrección o terminación
• Instalar, reparar y modificar materiales según sea necesario
• Utilizar herramientas manuales y eléctricas de manera segura
• Mantener el área de trabajo limpia, organizada y segura
• Trabajar con equipos de construcción para completar proyectos a tiempo
• Seguir las normas de seguridad y estándares de calidad de la empresa

• Experiencia previa en carpintería o construcción preferida
• Experiencia en trabajos de detalles, reparaciones y acabados es una ventaja
