ABOUT UFIT UFIT provides school-based physical education, sports development, competitive athletics, and youth fitness programming throughout Los Angeles County. Our goal goes beyond teaching students how to play a sport. We use sports to expose students to higher levels of competition, college opportunities, mentorship, discipline, and athletic development. Through our College to Sports initiative, UFIT works to create pathways connecting young students with: College athletic programs College campuses Collegiate sports experiences Summer sports camps Student-athlete mentors Competitive sports opportunities Our coaches are an important part of creating that bridge. This is an opportunity to do more than coach another recreational sports program. You will have an opportunity to: Introduce young students to competitive athletics Help students see college athletics as something they can pursue Use your collegiate athletic experience to mentor the next generation Work within a growing sports and education organization Gain experience with sports-development technology through UFIT Motion Participate in school-based athletic programming Support college exposure and College to Sports opportunities Develop as a youth sports professional WE WANT THE COACHES STUDENTS REMEMBER Many children never have access to a collegiate athlete or high-level coach. UFIT wants to change that. If you played NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA, JUCO, competitive club, or high-level high school athletics and believe the lessons you learned through sports can help develop the next generation, we want you on our coaching team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
