Start Date: 08/06/2026

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours

Employment Type: Contract / Per Diem

License/Certs: Active Physician License in VA (preferred)

Experience: Prior hospice/palliative care experience preferred

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with residents and interdisciplinary teams in hospice and palliative settings
• Provide patient-centered care to improve quality of life for seriously ill patients
• Assist with precepting residents, if applicable
• Follow established protocols and participate in care planning
• Document clinical assessments and interventions accurately
• Support the medical team with symptom management and end-of-life care
• Ensure compliance with all legal and safety standards

What You Need:

• Active physician licensure in Virginia
• Experience in hospice, palliative, or related fields preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
