Pediatric Therapist-Contractor

A to Z Occupational and Speech Therapy

Job Description

The Pediatric Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist provides specialized therapeutic services to children, delivering individualized treatment plans in children's homes and preschools. This role involves working independently while supporting the overall healthcare goals through collaboration with families and healthcare teams. Therapists contribute to improving pediatric patients' occupational, or speech abilities by applying their expertise in therapeutic techniques and compassionate care. **Work with high functioning kids in general education settings.**

Responsibilities

Develop and implement tailored therapy plans for pediatric patients
Monitor and document patient progress via IEP direct
Educate families on therapy goals and home care activities
Collaborate remotely with healthcare professionals as needed
Travel regularly to patients' preschools/homes to provide direct therapy services

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of experience in pediatric therapy
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology
State licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist
Proficiency in pediatric therapy techniques and individualized treatment planning
Skilled in therapeutic exercise and thorough documentation and reporting
Demonstrated empathy and compassion in patient care
