Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg, Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date 09/20/2026 for a 16-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range: $1,634–$1,721 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Night shift, 12-hour blocks (3 consecutive nights) per week.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients, including assessments, monitoring, and timely interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders, including IV therapies and routine wound care.
- Monitor patient status, identify changes in condition, and respond promptly to emergent situations.
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record; update care plans and MAR as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges; provide patient and family education.
- Manage a fast-paced admission unit with patient load typically 5–6:1, ensuring safety and quality of care.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in Georgia with Nursys verification
- BLS and ACLS required
- Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience
- Ability to work nights in a fast-paced admission unit
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a hospital setting
- Resume with no gaps greater than 60 days; load all demographic information into profile, including badge-appropriate photo
