Role Description We are seeking a Clinical Applications Specialist to support the Ultrasound Women’s Health Market. This role provides clinical and technical expertise throughout the sales cycle and post-sale process, partnering with Sales Representatives, Dealers, and the Channel Sales Manager to drive growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Prior experience supporting the Women’s Health Commercial Market is preferred. Key duties and responsibilities Deliver clinical and technical instruction during the ultrasound sales cycle and post-sale process to internal and external customers, including on-site visits with physicians and sonographers. Conduct professional ultrasound product demonstrations and post-installation training to customers’ clinical staff. Persuasively demonstrate and communicate the clinical and operational advantages of the system to end-users, influencing purchasing decisions and driving adoption through consultative selling and expertise. Provide clinical and technical support at trade shows and professional conferences. Collaborate with the product management and service teams to share field feedback and improve product performance. Support the sales and service teams with clinical expertise and customer engagement strategies. Monitor customer satisfaction post-installation and proactively address concerns. Ensure escalation situations are managed and resolved promptly and professionally. Assist with basic on-site troubleshooting to resolve service-related issues quickly. Perform other duties as assigned. Reporting & Administration Responsible for booking travel and filing expense reports in a timely manner. Responsible for completing customer demo and installation documentation in Salesforce. Conduct & Personal Development Maintain current knowledge in relevant clinical and technical fields. Represent the company professionally and maintain a positive attitude. Complete all required training courses and maintain all required certifications. Gain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s product portfolio and competitor offerings to effectively position and promote our solutions. Manage time effectively and make sound business decisions. Follow all company policies regarding travel, expenses, and equipment handling. Education, Skills & Experience RDMS certification required; (OB/GYN and Fetal Echo); must possess excellent knowledge of the technical and clinical aspects of diagnostic ultrasound. 4-10 years of clinical ultrasound experience in MFM, Ob/Gyn and Fetal Echo applications required. Skilled in 2D, 3D and Color Doppler across applications. Must be able to be compliant with hospital credentialing requirements. Previous commercial experience as a Clinical Applications Specialist preferred. Strong market knowledge and competitive attitude. Strong presentation skills and the ability to perform clinical and product training to all levels of customers. Must be self‑motivated, results‑oriented and team‑focused. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, demanding environment. Computer Skills Must be excellent with technology, able to present using a laptop and demonstrate proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome. Clinical Communication: Demonstrates strong understanding of medical terminology and communicates effectively across teams and stakeholders. Organizational Skills: Prioritizes and manages multiple tasks to ensure consistent productivity and timely results. Team Collaboration: Builds and sustains strong working relationships; contributes positively to a collaborative environment. Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and committed to meeting deadlines and performance goals. Problem Solving: Evaluates situations, identifies key factors, and makes sound decisions under pressure. Self‑Motivation: Proactively seeks opportunities for learning and professional growth; leverages available resources for development. Adaptability: Responds effectively to changing priorities and directives; willing to take on tasks outside normal scope when needed. Travel Requirements Willingness to travel internationally, overnight, and on weekends with 75% travel required. Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record; background and drug testing (pre‑ and post‑employment) is required. Physical Requirements Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneen, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Must be able to sit and/or drive for long periods of time when traveling. Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8‑15 hours) for multiple days. Regularly exposed to wet or humid conditions (non‑weather); fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (non‑weather) and extreme heat (non‑weather). Interaction with x‑ray devices; for this reason, strict safety and tracking programs are in place, requiring the utilization of dose monitoring equipment either full time or as necessitated by situation. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally very loud. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
