Attorney

GIDLEY, SARLI & MARUSAK, LLP is a Providence-based litigation law firm seeking an associate attorney with 2-4 years of experience in civil litigation. The Associate Attorney will work full time, on-site at the firm’s Providence, RI office, supporting partners and senior attorneys across a variety of matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing memoranda, pleadings, and other legal documents. The role involves assisting with case strategy, preparing for and arguing motion hearings and coordinating with opposing counsel and third parties as needed. The Associate Attorney will help manage case files, ensure deadlines are met, and contribute to maintaining high professional and ethical standards. This position offers opportunities for mentorship, increasing responsibility, and long-term professional growth within the firm. *Qualifications* * 2-4 years of experience in Litigation. * Strong foundation in the practice of civil litigation, with the ability to interpret statutes, regulations, and case law and to apply them to client matters. * Advanced esearch skills, including efficient use of legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and careful analysis of legal authorities. * Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the Rhode Island Bar. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities for managing multiple matters and deadlines.
