Job Summary and Responsibilities Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus. To be eligible for the sign-on bonus, you must be hired into a full‑time or part‑time position; PRN positions are not eligible. Some exclusions apply. The schedule for this position is two 12‑hour shifts per week and rotating weekends (7am‑7pm). 4th Floor Medical Surgical Unit The 4th Floor Medical Surgical unit at St. Anthony Hospital is a medical/surgical telemetry unit of 36 beds and is primarily a telemetry unit with medical/surgical overflow. Our typical patient population includes heart failure, pre and post‑cardiac catheterization, abnormal arrhythmias, vascular surgery, TAVRs, ablations, and other cardiac patients. Working on the 4th floor of the hospital provides nurses with an environment that is team‑focused, supportive, and adaptable to the changes in healthcare. As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for: Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Promoting the optimal health, well‑being, and safety of the patient through the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrating personal accountability for relationship‑based care, organizational mission, and core values. Job Requirements In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified nursing candidates will need the following: Education Requirements Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs. Experience Requirements One year experience preferred. Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty. Licenses/Certification Requirements RN License required; current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact. Physical Requirements Medium work – exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly. Where You’ll Work Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center with a full range of medical specialties and health care services.
