FSP CRA II (Neuro & Rare Disease) - US West

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Level II Clinical Research Associate to monitor investigational sites, ensure protocol compliance, and manage clinical trial documentation. The role involves remote and on-site visits across multiple therapeutic areas, with neuroscience and rare disease experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor investigator sites using risk-based approaches; identify compliance failures and implement corrective actions
• Conduct on-site and remote visits to assess protocol adherence, regulatory compliance, and data accuracy
• Review essential documents, investigational product inventory, and case report forms for completeness
• Initiate clinical trial sites, conduct investigator meetings, and manage trial closeout procedures
• Facilitate communication between investigative sites, sponsors, and project teams; provide status reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or Registered Nursing certification
• Approximately 1 year clinical research monitoring experience or fellowship completion
• Proven clinical monitoring skills and ICH-GCP knowledge
• Strong critical thinking, root cause analysis, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical trial management systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Valid driver's license where applicable
